Bürstner successfully passes ISO 9001:2015 surveillance audit
DEKRA auditors praise considerable improvements at the Kehl factory and with respect to the start of the Copa camper van production at the Wissembourg (FR) site
Kehl. DEKRA carried out the annual ISO 9001 certification surveillance audit at the two Bürstner GmbH & Co. KG sites in Kehl, Germany, and Wissembourg, France, from 15 to 17 March 2021. Bürstner has been certified according to the ISO 9001 norm, an internationally recognised quality management system standard that involves regular audits, for many years. This year, the auditors noted considerable improvements compared to last year, especially with regard to the development of the company's own key financial indicator systems, the implementation of LEAN management in the production area, more efficient project management and accounting and also the optimisation of the internal quality assurance cycle. They
particularly praised the fast and quality-oriented process transfer for the new camper van "Copa" production line at the Wissembourg site.
"For companies like ours, ISO 9001 represents the opportunity to design the quality management system in line with internationally recognised standards. Our customers can therefore rest assured that in Bürstner, they have found a partner that makes no compromises when it comes to quality standards," says Peter Simenc, the head of Bürstner's QM department. "I am delighted by the fact that our efforts to optimise our processes further have been worthwhile."
The two auditors from DEKRA - an independent certification institute - confirmed that Bürstner has successfully passed the audit, as they found no faults whatsoever, had made good progress and had successfully implemented last year's recommendations.
