This year the Bürstner Home Light is one of the winners of the German Design Award 2021. The innovative lighting system was already awarded the coveted German Innovation Award 2020 last year and once again impressed the jury with its numerous merits.
Bürstner Home Light Receives German Design Award 2021
Kehl. With the Bürstner Home Light, the leading manufacturer of motorhomes, caravans, and mobile homes has developed a versatile light that has not only been met with enthusiasm by customers but by the German Design Award as well. The innovation has now received an award for the second time in a row.
The special thing about the Bürstner Home Light is its combination of modern design and multi-functionality. It can be docked onto a magnetic mount at various locations in the vehicle and can thus create a very wide range of lighting effects. The Bürstner Home Light can also be used as a dimmable table lamp to create a pleasant atmosphere. Several Home Lights can also be combined in one vehicle.
The Bürstner Home Light is compatible with motorhomes, caravans, and mobile homes that have a built-in docking station. It is included as standard in several vehicles from the 2021 season. In the motorhome category these include the Elegance, the Lyseo TD 744 Harmony Line, and TD 745 Harmony Line. In addition, the innovation comes standard in the Eliseo converted van and the Averso Harmony Line caravan. The Bürstner Home Light can also be retrofitted in many models upon request and can be purchased from the Bürstner Original Parts & Accessories Shop.
Bürstner is delighted to receive the two awards. The German Design Award, which is presented by the German Design Council, honors innovative products and projects, their manufacturers and designers, which are pioneering in the German and international design landscape. The focus is on detailed innovations and services with real added value. The entries are judged by an independent, international panel of experts. The German Design Award discovers and presents unique design trends and thereby promotes the design-oriented economy.
