Caravan magazines from twelve European countries have initiated the “European Innovation Award for the caravan industry” and have crowned the winner at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf. The editorial offices nominated innovative concepts in the segments of motorhomes and caravans. Bürstner has won the prize in both categories for the principal idea of integrating fold-down beds in semi-integrated motorhomes and caravans. Due to the fold-down beds, the Ixeo model range and the Averso Plus caravan range offer a high level of sleeping comfort for couples and families while the vehicles have quite compact measurements. This leads to lighter vehicles which is also an improvement in terms of environmental friendliness.
